MatCH is looking for a suitably qualified candidate to fill the following position under a project aimed at Achieving and Sustaining HIV/TB Epidemic Control in Eastern Cape Province – Integrated Service Delivery Response. Location: East London , Eastern Cape

Duration of Contract: 5-year fixed term contract .

Main purpose of the job :Provide technical assistance, facility-based quality improvement and mentoring to ensure provision of healthcare services for TB/ HIV integrated management . Supervision of staff and provision of logistics and planning support for the related services. Monitor and report on the implementation of program activities with regards TB/HIV integrated management cascade partner coordination. Liaison with internal and external stakeholders and support capacity-building activities for facility HIV services/activities.

Key performance areas • Provide management and support for TB prevention and testing in HIV infected clients. • Undertake continuous analysis of barriers to continuity of treatment and supporting the implementation of differentiated service delivery (DSD) models for TB/HIV co-infected clients. • Design, and implement activities that improve psychosocial support for clients with TB/HIV co-infection, including guidance on adherence counselling and support. • Provide support and guidance on TB/ HIV integration cascade program with the aim of improving adherence strategies and ensuring retention in care. • Provide or facilitate technical leadership to programs in the areas of HIV/TB service delivery, task shifting and programme implementation • Support IPC guidelines, policies and measures within teams at facilities • Participate in development of best practices and enhancement of program activities • Excellent report writing and presentation skills. • Monitor performance and implementation of the WPs and develop action plan to control risks and address challenges aligned with guideline and document best practices. • Build capacity for quality improvement in DREAMS and Youth Health through training, on-site coaching and support supervision.Support the development of systems for continuous learning, quality improvement methods and tools.

Required minimum education, training, and technical support. • Diploma/Degree in General Nursing • NIMART certificate • A valid unendorsed driver’s license.

Professional body registration • Current registration with applicable statutory professional body.

Minimum work experience • Minimum four years working experience public/private (NGO) sector experience, • Minimum four years working in middle or senior management role. • Minimum four years working experience providing management support for TB/HIV integration management. • Minimum four years’ experience in program planning, management, and implementation, including experience with the provision of focussed TB/HIV integration services.
